Coca-Cola Great Britain (CCGB) has supported our charity for over 36 years. Through financial investment, donation of assets, staff volunteering and decades of dedication as a Founding Partner, the partnership with CCGB has helped SOGB to change lives.

2013 marked 35 years of partnership between Coca-Cola and Special Olympics as well as SOGB's National Summer Games in Bath; the country’s largest sporting event for athletes with intellectual disabilities.

CCGB’s ambition was to honour the milestone with a special celebration of the charity and its athletes whilst raising awareness of the partnership.

Renowned sports photographer Graham Hughes was commissioned to create iconic images of twelve SOGB athletes to star in a communications campaign in the run up to the Games.

The campaign featured on billboards, the London Underground, bus sides, print, PR, Facebook and for the first time, the iconic Coca-Cola sign in Piccadilly Circus.

The campaign generated significant PR with an exclusive feature in The Times, a four page supplement in the Daily Telegraph, and in the regional media in Bath and each of the athlete’s hometowns.

CCGB captured the story of the shoot to make a film – ‘Let Me Win’ – which ran across both GB and global Coca-Cola websites giving the athletes their moment to shine and raising further awareness of the campaign.
