Year-round sports opportunities for people with intellectual disabilities

We are proud to be the country’s largest provider of year-round sports training and competition programmes for children and adults with intellectual (learning) disabilities.

Our aim is to establish more Special Olympics sports clubs, more local, regional and national competitions, as well as working in partnership with existing local mainstream sports groups and helping to make them inclusive for children and adults with intellectual disabilities.

We want every child and adult with an intellectual disability in GB who wants to have the opportunity to take part in quality sports training and competition, to improve their lives and in turn, the lives of everyone they touch.

With your support we can make this a reality for people with intellectual disabilities to experience fun, fitness and friendship through sport.
