What is Unified Business?

Unified Business is a groundbreaking initiative that unites the talents and passions of Coca Cola Europacific Partners volunteers with the creative prowess of our Athlete Leaders. Together, we design and deliver innovative projects and products, which not only showcase the skills of our athletes but also create meaningful impact in their lives and communities.

Our athletes are incredibly talented and hardworking, and we believe that developing their employability and life skills can make a significant difference. By working together in a ‘unified’ way, we challenge societal perceptions and raise awareness about the capabilities of people with intellectual disabilities.

How Does It Work?

Through Unified Business, CCEP volunteers and Special Olympics GB Athlete Leaders collaborate on focused, short-term projects with clear goals and timelines. These ‘sprint’ projects allow for intense, creative collaboration, resulting in products that are as practical as they are inspirational.

Our Impact

The Unified Business initiative goes beyond product creation. It fosters personal growth, independence, and mutual understanding. Here are some of the incredible outcomes we’ve achieved:

Enhanced Training Materials: CCEP volunteers have gained new insights from working with our athletes, leading to the improvement of future training programs.

Increased Independence: Our athletes have overcome challenges such as traveling by train, gaining confidence and independence in their daily lives.

Employability and Professional Skills: Our athletes have got to experience the end-to-end development of products, which has increased their business knowledge as well as their communication skills.
