"Creating the best possible experience and environment for athletes with intellectual disabilities to thrive in an overseas event presents many logistical challenges. We're thrilled to complete such an experienced coaching and management team with the appointments of Seonaid, Jane, Pam, Rachael, Michelle and Catriona.”

The Special Olympics World Winter Games will bring together over 1,500 athletes from 102 nations to compete in eight winter sports over eight days.

Team SOGB will depart for Turin on Friday 7 March, ahead of the opening ceremony on the following day at the Inalpi Arena.
